Reasons to: is held in the fantastic city of Brighton. Situated on Britain's south coast, Brighton has lots to offer: sea, (hopefully sun), great social hang-outs (pubs!), plenty of places to stay and eat, a ton of history, and one of Britain's most thriving digital communities of designers and coders too!

The Dome

Our venue is stunning! The Dome is actually three venues collectively known as the The Brighton Dome. Reasons to: runs in three separate theatres. This year, our theatres are: The Brighton Dome, The Old Court House and The Unitarian Church. Alongside the 3 magnificent venues, The Dome also houses a fabulous galleried bar and mezzanine where you can network and meet the sponsors and exhibitors.

Official Speaker Hotel

The official speaker hotel is less than 100m from the conference venue. It is the perfect place to get those extra zzz's before enjoying the sessions! As well as it's terrific rooms, the myHotel has a very cool bar - great for networking, and it often becomes the place to hook up for a beer after the parties!

London Gatwick

Gatwick is the nearest international airport to Brighton. It is located half way between London & Brighton and is approx 25 miles from Brighton.

Trains from Gatwick

It is easy to get a direct train from LGW > Brighton. Trains run regularly from Gatwick to Brighton. Fares are around £10 each way and the journey takes approx 30 minutes.

National Rail

Buses from Gatwick

National Express run regular buses from Gatwick to Brighton. Fares start from around £8.50 one way, and the journey takes approx 45 minutes.

Taxis from Gatwick

It is easy to get a taxi from Gatwick to Brighton. Journey time is just over half an hour. Prices vary dependant on which taxi firm you use, but typically run between £30 to £50 each way. If you are thinking about getting a taxi, our advice is to consider the train or bus first.

London Heathrow

Heathrow is the next nearest international airport to Brighton. It is located west of London and is approx 50 miles from Brighton.

Trains from Heathrow

Heathrow to Brighton by train involves a a tube and an overground. You will need to go from Heathrow > Victoria > Brighton. Trains run regularly from Heathrow to London, & from London to Brighton.

National Rail

Buses from Heathrow

National Express run regular buses from Heathrow to Brighton. Fares start from around £30 one way, and the journey takes approx 2hrs 30mins.

Taxis from Heathrow

A taxi from Heathrow to Brighton is not cheap! Journey time is around a couple of hours. Prices vary dependant on which taxi firm you use, but typically run upward of £100 each way. If you are thinking about getting a taxi, our advice is to try and get someone to share the ride!

Wifi

If you are from the UK, chances are you have 4G on your phone. If you are travelling from abroad, you won't want to eat into your data plan, so don't worry, Reasons to: will provide an exclusive wifi cloud at the venue for you to blog, tweet and email!

Don't worry, we have charging areas, for you to charge your laptop, phone, iPad etc.

Brighton

Brighton is a really cool place to be, and to experience the best bits, you have to explore.

There is plenty to see including the beach, the promenade, the pier, the lanes, and more. Plenty of shopping, pubs and restaurants to keep you busy while you are here.

London

If you are planning on taking a trip into London, we recommend you get yourself a Travelcard.

These can be bought for one day or longer, and will allow you on underground trains, overground trains and buses and trams within the city.

Taxis

Brighton is not huge, but if you do need a taxi, they are are everywhere! brightontaxis.com has around 300 vehicles.

These range from low saloon cars to multi seater vehicles that can carry from 5 up to 8 passengers. Most taxi firms have wheelchair accessible vehicles which can be requested.

Coffee

You probably will not need a caffeine hit whilst you are at Reasons to be Creative because you will already be buzzing!

Within the venue, there is a coffee bar where you can buy coffee, tea etc, we provide water (and energy!).

Pubs

You will not have to walk too far to find a pub! If you want to get a pint, Brighton has pubs everywhere! Within 25 metres of the venue there are two! The The Mash Tun and The Waggon & Horses. Follow the crowd, and you will not have to walk more than a couple of minutes to find one!

Asian food chain, plenty of seating, about 4 minutes walk from the venue.

A speakers favourite, especially for breakfast, approx 8 minutes walk from the venue.
