Create Unique User Experiences With Custom Flex Components
One of the key things that makes Flex such a productive environment for building rich internet applications is its extensive set of reusable components. These can be customized in a variety of ways to achieve the look and feel you want for your application. However, sometimes you want to go beyond what these offer to create something truly unique.
This talk will take you through the process of building a graphically rich component based on the Cover Flow feature of ITunes 7. Along the way, we'll look at important features of the Flex component architecture and how you can leverage them when building your own components. It's easier than you might think!
