Sascha Wolter
Bio
Sascha is a professional developer and architect of online and offline media with focus on the Flash Platform.
He also works as a consultant and author on a freelance basis and contributes articles to a number of magazines. His books and DVDs on Flash are best selling publications in Germany.
He has been giving lectures and trainings for several few years now. Sascha is also the founder of the leading German Macromedia User Group flashforum.de with more than 70000 members.
His latest project is an ERP system based on Flex 2 for one of the biggest retailers in the world. Now Sascha is looking forward to his second child expected for the end of July - properly the second half of the two things he did best so far.

Enterprise Flash
Sascha shows you how you can use Flash and Flex for business applications. He will demonstrate the process of building a framework and realizing a project using ActionScript 2 and ActionScript 3 with common tools like Flash 8, Flash 9, FAMES, FDT and Flex 2.
Architecture, design patterns and the difference between certain workflows are important parts of his sessions and he is looking forward to discuss the pros and cons of design approaches like thin- and fat clients.
Although this session seems to be more technical it is a must see for designers which want to improve their understanding of basic concepts like "separate graphics from code" and using patterns like MVC (model view controller).
