Session
Flash Catalyst in Action
Adobe Flash Catalyst is a new professional interaction design tool for rapidly creating application interfaces and interactive content - without coding.
In this session, Mark will show you how you can use Flash Catalyst to transform static artwork into a functioning interface, and how you can then optionally add additional functionality using Flash Builder.
Since Flash Catalyst is still under development, he will also demonstrate some the most recently added features, including some that have not been widely shown before.
In addition, Mark will show you what's happening behind the scenes, providing an overview of the technologies leveraged by Flash Catalyst.
These include the new XML-based graphics format called FXG, and the upcoming Flex 4 Framework, codenamed "Gumbo", which introduces a number of new features to make it easier to build more highly customized and unique applications with a greater focus on design.
