Bio
Mike Jones is a technologist and enabler. He has worked for multiple clients and assisted numerous companies in defining and developing innovative solutions across multiple platforms and devices.
Day to day he provides consultation, training and development services, and his expertise has been employed by the likes of BBC, British Telecom, Sony, Adobe, Mars, Diesel and UBS to name a few.
As a former Platform Evangelist at Adobe, Mike has presented workshops and sessions art various international conferences and is well versed in speaking on both technical and business oriented topics.

In this session Mike talking walking his way through the new Spark components in Flex 4 and how they could just be the missing link between great designs and fantastic applications.
Things may break, there will be jokes, the occassional rant, talk of beer and many walks down memory lane as we go from flat to functional in 60 minutes.
So if you're a designer who wants to find out how to stop developers butchering your designs, or a developer who wants to build applications that actually look identical to the mock-ups then this is for you.
For the more analytically minded Mike will be looking at how FXG works and how to harness the new skinnable Spark classes as well as how to hack on Flash Catalyst to get the bits you need and leave the rest behind when creating interactive skins for your applications.
