Sound Interjection
Sound Interjection is a concept coined by industrial designer Sam Hecht in trying to figure out Yuri Suzuki's work: "Sound interjection is defined as a person contributing to the atmosphere of a room by way of sound.
Often too much emphasis is put on the visual when it comes to the use of our environment. I believe that what Yuri has been doing, is to show a new dimension to the conversation between objects and people.
Sound interjection is playful but it is also an illustration of what is possible with the manipulation of product systems." Yuri Suzuki will speak about his perspective on using sound as material.
