In this session I'll be telling my story of how I was offered the job of my dreams to go and be the Editor at record store, Rough Trade.

My role included producing a 64-page, monthly music magazine with no team, no time, and a very low budget.

In this talk I'll take you backstage at one of London's most famous record stores and show you how I made Rough Trade Magazine into the legendary, attic-lurking, smile-inducing, memory-conjuring, funny, weird, unpredictable, ramshackle timestamp in music history that it is, or, was.
