Stefanie Posavec moved from Colorado to London in 2004 and never went home. With a background in book design and text visualisation, she mainly works as a designer with a focus on data-related design, with work ranging from data visualisation to data art for a variety of clients.

More recently her work has explored engaging with data by moving this digital material into the physical world, either through exploring the act of gathering and drawing data by hand, creating experiential, wearable data objects, or through inciting people to physically move or 'dance' through data in a public space.

Her work has been exhibited internationally at the Museum of Modern Art (New York), Centro Cultural Banco Do Brasil (Rio de Janeiro), the Victoria & Albert Museum, Southbank Centre, and Somerset House (London).
